Radioactive Iodine Treamtent?

My Grandmother had the treatment and she felt fine while getting it and afterwards. As for being around your cat and dog, I wouldn't recommend it for about 24 hours. The doctor told my Grandmother to stay away from small children in the next 24 hours following the treatment so I can ume it would go for small animals too.
