My fish is swimming in spirals...?

I have a glowlight tetra, and I've noticed lately that he's been swimming on his side, and today, he started swimming sideways, upside down, and sometimes just darting around doing complete spirals. He's not swimming around in circles, just spirals. I don't know if its a swim bladder infection, because he hasn't been at the surface, looking like he's having a hard time staying underwater. He just can't swim straight. I thought it might've been the heat so i added some cooler water, because it is 94 degrees outside today and it's pretty warm in my room. I also read that crushed frozen peas seems to work for swim bladder infections, but I'm not even sure what the case is.
