What is the difference between a protestant or evangelical version of the Bible with the catholic?

I know the protestant Bible doesn't have some books but what is the difference in the translation with the catholic version? can you given an example of a verse and if the translation altered the meaning of the verse? because the catholic bibles are authorized of the catholic Bible, meanwhile the protestant bibles many churches use different versions like the version of the adventists, according to some people there is a special version of this church about the Bible.
