My boyfriend gets mad when I point out or tell him about guys in the street who look at me and make comments.?

He says I can't handle myself and that I need to avoid eye contact with them. He says I like the attention. I only tell him bc he probes me every day asking who looked at me who talked to me etc. On Friday we were walking together and a sar full of guys looked at me and one guy yelled hello to me waced and laughed. I couldnt believe how rude he was and said to my boyfriend can u believe the nerve of him to say hi when im with a guy. He didnt notice it and got so mad that I pointed out a guy talking to me that he punched my arm. It really hurt when he did it and a few days past (3 to be exact) and I noticed there is a bruise there. I told him about it and he apologized. This isnt the first time he got violent over other men. I have a wandering eye and once I looked at a guy infront of him and he squeezed my hand very hard. He astually turns my head to look forward and not around to any guys. I am white but my bf is black caribean from barbados is jealousy part of their culture? Is it bad he puinched me or did i deserve it?
