Can my cat tell me and my twin apart?

sasha used to be Angela's kitty. and she is the shyest kitty in the world. then when angela deployed, i took sasha for her. sasha is no longer AS shy. and i wonder if she thinks i am my twin? she loves me to death, and was not scared of me at all when i got her. with my twin, sasha would not leave the underneith of the bed. with me she immediatly started to come around. so do you think tha she thinks i am my twin, thus causing her to be way more comfortable around me than others?
