Should I go to law enforcement or practice law?

I have a great interest in law and thats what brings me into a situation. If I continue school, I will earn my B.A. and be out of law school in 5 years. The money is attracting and a comforting lifestyle for my future and my childrens future when I have some and I love politics and may wish to pursue a profession in the political area eventually if I choose law school. On the other hand, I love doing jobs that require a physical demand and guns. I would be a police officer to start out about 40k a year and go into swat, narcotics or even be a trooper in some task force. On the side I would join the Marine Corps reserves which I will do regardless which route, but just easier with the police because the military leave and they would be similar. Please anyone in these careers give me advise on whats an average day and why one of these jobs are worth choosing more. Please real answers and liberals, no military bashing either. Its not needed because you don't support our troops or war.
