I owe $8000 on my Discover Card......Can i transfer it onto another card that has 0% finance for a year?

SURE, but you pay 3% transaction fee to do so. Then if you are EVER late or miss payment, the low rate goes up. OH yes, and IF you have any new charges on that card, you invalidate this whole deal, because you can't pay off the new. . . .
